Ep 20: Adapting After an Incident

We know too well that incidents in transport and logistics are inevitable, but it’s how we respond and learn from them that is perhaps the most important factor in reducing how often they occur.

This is something NTI’s Risk Engineers Kurt Herron and Paul Bressan discuss frequently in their day-to-day work with operators, seeing a fair amount of variance in the way incident reviews are perceived, prioritised, and carried out.

They join us today to chat about the importance of thoroughly reviewing incidents and digging deeper into root causes to better understand what’s happened and the valuable lessons and actions that can be taken away.

We explore some of the approaches, methodologies, and ways of thinking about incident review, and how they can be tailored for any business, large or small.
